History of this car
A tipo 818.630 model, our car was registered new on 8/11/1972 in Brescia, Italy, to a lady owner who would continue to own this delightful Lancia until 2010.
Our car was imported into the UK in 2015 and has had two owners since then, so this is a genuinely low ownership vehicle.
This Fulvia was finished when new in the rare colour of Bronzo with a superb matching Marrone cloth interior. What sets this car apart from the rest is that most of the paint and all of the interior are original factory finish.
Our car is ASI registered and is a low mileage (100k klms or 60k miles), vehicle with a charmingly original feel to it.
Since importation, it has benefitted from careful usage and expert servicing making it one of the nicest examples available; we sold the car to the current owner and it is now available again due to an unforeseen change of circumstances.
This is the reason to buy this car.
Our car is finished in Bronzo, the original delivery colour, a rare shade for a Fulvia. We believe 70% of the paint is factory original first coat with some localised repainting here and there. The bodywork is in fine preserved condition with perfect panel gaps and arrow straight sides, lovely thin paint with some patina as one would expect. Remarkable!
The chassis appears perfect with correct subframe mount gaps and our inspection showed no evidence of accident or rust repair.
Glass is all original and the stainless trim is in excellent order.
This is a standard mechanical specification car that drove without fault on test, the matching numbers engine being notably sweet.
Our car has wanted for nothing in terms of upkeep since importation. Maintenance work, conducted by Italian car specialists Mark Devaney and latterly by Omicron, includes:
Electric fuel pump and hew hoses
High capacity alternator
4 x new Pirelli Cinturato tyres
Engine deep service including valve clearance setting
Ignition overhaul including switch replacement
Brake system works
Clutch cable replaced & pedal box overhaul
Front suspension works
This car must have lived in a dark garage for most of its life as the condition of the interior is remarkable. Original cloth seating with some wear to the driver’s seat upright complemented by a pristine dashboard and uncracked dashtop, excellent headlining, again all original. The original rubber matting is in good condition and the car is supplied with a set of protective overmats.
Our car has been fitted with inertia reel seat belts to the front seats, with colour coordinated webbing.
Consistent with the rest of the car: very correct, Battaini jack in place, spare wheel and protective cover, undamaged original rubber matting.
A preservation class high quality Fulvia in a cool colour, supplied with cancelled original Italian libretto, ASI certification, owner’s manual, supplying dealer key fob and good service history file since importation, driving beautifully and ready to go.
