1.0 Definitions

1.1 The vendor, Mr Speedlux is the “dealer’ and the buyer is the “customer”.

1.2 Mr Speedlux is the trading name of Winstone Marketing Communications Ltd, a private limited company registered in England and Wales in 2003 under number 4678794 with a registered office address of 7 Castle Street, Tonbridge, Kent, TN9 1BH, UK.

2.0 Inventory

2.1 The dealer owns most of the inventory. From time to time however, vehicles will be offered by the dealer under a consignment arrangement whereby they are owned by a third party, and the dealer is facilitating the sale for that owner. Such vehicles are identified accordingly within the vehicle’s description.

2.2 All vehicles offered by the dealer are sold as collector’s items and not as operational means of transport.

3.0 Inspections

3.1 The dealer strives to provide accurate descriptions of vehicle conditions. We are not bound by these descriptions and customers are encouraged to carry out their own inspections to satisfy themselves as to the vehicle’s condition.

3.2 The customer or the customer’s agent can conduct any inspection of a vehicle offered by the dealer, only at the dealer’s premises and with 24 hours notice.

3.3 It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure the fitness for purpose and road worthiness of any vehicle, said assessment to be established prior to sale.

4.0 Odometer readings

4.1 All vehicles offered by the dealer are TMU (total mileage unknown) unless otherwise specified within the description.

5.0 Test drives

5.1 The dealer offers to demonstrate any vehicle to the customer. For insurance reasons, the dealer cannot allow customers to test drive cars.

5.2 If the customer wishes to test drive a vehicle, they will need to provide:

5.2.i An insurance cover note for the vehicle in the amount of the vehicle in question’s asking price, and

5.2.ii A bond of £500 against any accidental mechanical damage.

6.0 Warranty

6.1 There is no warranty of any type offered or implied, and all vehicles are sold as is, where is.

6.2 All sales are final, and no refunds are offered.

7.0 Payment

7.1 Vehicles must be paid for in full prior to collection.

7.2 For Sterling transactions the dealer accepts payment by BACS transfer only.

7.2.i The dealer also accepts payment in most currencies. These can be made by wire transfer at the www.xe.com exchange rate prevailing on the day of invoicing.

7.3 Any vehicle offered by the dealer which is being sold on consignment, where the dealer is acting as facilitator, payment will be made directly by the customer via BACS transfer to the relevant owner.

8.0 Storage

8.1 After payment is made, the dealer will store the customer’s vehicle for 2 weeks free of charge, if required. After this 2 week grace period, the dealer will charge £25 per week plus VAT for covered storage of the customer’s vehicle.

9.0 Place of delivery

9.1 Unless otherwise agreed, this will be at the dealer’s premises in Ninfield, East Sussex, UK.

9.2 The dealer can arrange delivery, including international shipping, at rates available upon request.
